That was a nice find. My dad owned a 63 Impala SS 409 that I took my drivers test in and remember the instructor saying he'd love to take it for a ride. Gas was 30 cents a gallon...
Cool...!
A friend of mines dad flew from small town Idaho to Detroit to pick up a brand new 64 Impala (red with a white top) right off the factory floor!(rich folks)
(only had a 283 though)
My friend drove it for years... well into the late 70's.

I was so jealous at the time....all I could afford was a 64 Valiant with a 225 and I worked my ass off for two years to buy it, but it got me through my driver test and high school...

I remember 30 cents a gallon (and less) for a gallon of gas & 25 cents for a pack of smokes...

Small World, my last car from highschool(70 Grad) in Chicagoland, was a 64 Impala Convertible, pale yellow, blk top/interior, 283 2bbl....had a fancy lucite and chrome IMPALA cap on the front of the steering wheel, I could snap off and hide my doobies behind....sign of the times, eh?....playing Led Zeppelin II on the 8-track....lol...

I too was thinking that it may be some serious question about something, but after coming here I found that this is something about snacks, but I liked it and it shows your love for the same and I am sorry to tell you that I do not remember this.

They were soft and smooth and delicious! They used to keep them by the register where I live and I always bought one when I checked out.

Had them growing up, all over the midwest, but i have yet to ever see them, here in Florida....could be because of their very low, melting rate...lol...Yeah, we were lemmings, when they kept them by the register...lol...

Remember silly putty? You could stick it on the comics section of the paper and peel it off to show a great copy!
