And the cheaper knock-off, American Logs. As I recall Lincoln Logs were round and American Logs were square.

yep...

Union policy of Jax Brewery entitled each employee to five beers a shift. Beer was also available to employees in less mandated ways. Former Jax employee William Lyncker recalls that his job on the assembly line was to remove any bottles not filled to capacity (called “shorts”) and place them in a case in a cooler downstairs. The cases were later brought around and served to brewery employees, most of whom were working without air-conditioning. Only in New Orleans is free beer not enough. Larry Fabacher, whose family owned Jax Brewery and who worked there while growing up, remembers that “a lot of guys were loaded all the time…some abused it and their wives would come on payday to pick up check because the guys would stay there and work and drink.”

...the lone star brewery in san antone did that too......i usta love to 'tour' the brewery, the hall of horns, the hall of fins (both halls were trophy-critter paraphanalia), then 'sample' the brew at the huge bar.....all free........3 days a week our dairy farm would get a wagonload of "malt" delivered....the cows loved it, but it truly smelled evil........

Loved that movie. Loved David Bowie in that movie....thought he was sooooo sexy. As an adult I'm like damn, Shady, what were you thinking? He's not hot at all!

Remember that light up game called Simon? And Operation?

Or reruns of your most absolutely favorite show from when you were a teenager. Watch it now and you think "geeze, how cheesy is THAT" LOL. Doesn't matter what show, pick anything that was labeled "drama/action" from the 70's.....

What's really bad is I had the Saved by the Bell board game and Girl Talk, and I didn't have a sister yet, my sister came waaaayyy later, so my older brother would play them with me just to humor me. He also used to sing kareoke with me and I would pick really cheesy girly songs, if you saw him you would laugh, he's not feminine at all, he was just really good to me. I hope he never sees this......

My father had a couple of 100% polyester leisure suits that he bought from Sears in the mid-'70's. God bless him----but they were really horrible stuff.
One of them was endorsed by the golfer, Johnny Miller. From that point on, I called them ALL 'Johnny Miller leisure suits'.

Lime green, powder blue, pinkish sand, plaid. Was there any color that WASN'T butchered up in the 70's?
