First Class Chick!!..Ya know Mrs_Whitewater... folks cry for their lived ones after they have passed .for a reason.. THEY MISS THEM..they want them to be near to share a cup of tea and chatter about everything.. to share a new experience. To share their love in a comforting hug and a kiss in the flesh.. NOT just to whisper the words into thin air..
So with every tear that flows down your cheek ..You are keeping their memory ALIVE..a beautiful joyous expression of Love.
Ahhhh...I BELIEVE a pot of Mint tea is in order and a Lemon date muffin..and your fine company..

Hello Friends,
The sun is shining and it has warmed up just a bit.
I think I'll get something to drink. I'll go get a cup of "Fireside" coffee.

But are you keeping that memory alive but not 'living'? Think of it this way, when we tell someone of how mom used to......, they laugh with us and they can actually "feel" and "see" that person's spirit. If someone asked me of you, I would not say solemnly, "We would share tea and beauty together." That would do not justice to the happiness you have brought me. Rather, I might say something like, "Oh, I met her online and I started this thread, and she was always right there to help me. She would make the room come alive with her descriptions of honeysuckle and various teas and oh, how she could make you laugh when you most needed it." And I would say it all with a smile in my eyes that matched the huge smile on my lips.

But that is just me....:)

Have you ever noticed that when you are happy, really happy, everything in life seems right: your job seems easier to do, the rain doesn’t seem so cold, the sun doesn’t seem so hot, and even your own footsteps seem lighter? Here is what I have come to know, and I feel just as compelled to tell my “truth” as a Christian does to tell theirs. I will be using only the Gospel of Thomas for my references except where otherwise noted. So when I reference Jesus like this, 1 And he said, "Whoever discovers the interpretation of these sayings will not taste death.", I am referencing the Gospel of Thomas. You can find the entire written text at this website; http://www.westarinstitute.org/Polebridge/Exc... .
Since the beginning of time, man and woman have looked for the meaning of life. They want to know what lies beyond, why they are here, is there an overall purpose for their lives, and will they be remembered. 2 Jesus said, "Those who seek should not stop seeking until they find. 2When they find, they will be disturbed. 3When they are disturbed, they will marvel, 4and will rule over all." So let’s not stop looking, seeking the truth. Why not keep an open mind for just a minute so that something important may not pass by us without our noticing? 4 Jesus said, "The person old in days won't hesitate to ask a little child seven days old about the place of life, and that person will live. 2For many of the first will be last, 3and will become a single one." .
Religion has offered a kind of safe haven. Having faith in a higher power that will save you from the world and yourself is soul satisfying, easy to do, socially accepted, and ultimately… self destructive. He said to them, 24:2"Anyone here with two ears had better listen! 3There is light within a person of light, and it shines on the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark.”
In the King James Version of the Holy Bible, one can learn where there is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Bible explains who the Father is and how the Father gave the world His Son. But the Holy Spirit is so briefly covered. The Bible speaks of it as “God’s Holy Spirit”, and according to the Bible and the Gospel of Thomas, God’s Holy Spirit lives and dwells within man. The Holy Spirit is there to guide us when we are still enough to listen.

So, if not all people are religious, then what of those who are as kind and gentle as a spring rain but seem to have no faith? Will they go to heaven? How could they go to Heaven without having faith and religion in which to proclaim their faith? Why do they seem so happy? Don’t they know that no matter how kind they are, how much good they do, how much happiness and light they spread, they will not go to Heaven without knowing Jesus? He said, 22:8 “Let there be among you a person who understands.9When the crop ripened, he came quickly carrying a sickle and harvested it. 10Anyone here with two good ears had better listen!” and Jesus said to them, 22:4 "When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, 5 and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female, 6when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, 7then you will enter [the (Father's) domain]."
It is the free spirit who will enter the kingdom of Heaven and sit at the feet of God. It is the person who came to know that the one thing God cherishes more than any thing, even himself or his Son, God cherishes His creations: us. 44 Jesus said, "Whoever blasphemes against the Father will be forgiven, 2and whoever blasphemes against the Son will be forgiven, abut whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either on earth or in heaven." Our Father loves each of us just they way we are. Not what we are wearing, not what job we hold or what status we hold in our communities, but just us, naked, without embellishments. He knows that is when we are His PERFECT creation. And when we begin to cherish and hold sacred His Holy Spirit, us, then we shall not know death but better yet, we will come to know God’s purpose for us. All He ever wanted was for us to be happy and live! Really live life. Dance like no one is watching and see how your spirit soars. 37.2Jesus said, "When you strip without being ashamed, and you take your clothes and put them under your feet like little children and trample them, 3then [you] will see the son of the living one and you will not be afraid."

With true respect for your particular beliefs,
May I add..

Not everyone .. by ANY means believes in JESUS..
or in the Catholic faith;

as one lives life among many others on this planet -
we must equally allow for others and a variety of different
beliefs AND those who have zero beliefs:

There is an inbuilt morality in human kind
which guides him/her in the right way
without direction from
any particular religion...

Already seen that a bit of ocean air would be a good thing so I opened the sliding door. Nothing smells like salt air in the winter.

I found a really unique Japanese tea. It is a powder, and is not what we Americans are accustomed to. There is an entire ceremony to serve and drink it but it is meant to be between friends, so I thought I would bring it for tonight.

These Japanese tea biscuits are traditional to serve with the tea.

I have to warn you though, it gives caffeine a bad name. ;)

And yes, I agree with everything you said.:D

EXCELLENT!! This is just what I am saying. No matter who you are, what you may believe, the only real truth is that we are divinely made and should cherish what God has given....life!!!

I am sorry that I did not comment on your song. It is a little deep for me and I still do not have much opinion on it. I believe it is beautiful for what it is written for but it makes me worry about the soul of the writer.....

True, we have survival and defense knowledge placed within our spirits before birth.. as well as LOVE.. to LOVE one another.. RESPECT for all living creatures and anything else alive... WE were taught very good manners by OUR CREATOR!! Religion is basically man-made.. if it wasn't.. there would be ONE and not scads. Follow your heart..Believe WHAT names yiy feel ALIVE and LOVED! FOR me ..iT is GOD..Our Master Creator of the Universe..
Of course, we on this planet.. may be living in a GIANT TERRAIUM and we are all seeds, nurtured with food and water..and LOVE .we blossom, reproduce and wither and die...just like a green plant... THINK ABOUT IT!!

I just had to say how I see this in my life. I really believe that if everyone would go to the simplicity of loving themselves and loving their neighbor, no matter anything else, they will be loving just what they are supposed to. Follow this rule and you will have found the meaning of life: to live!
