[REDNECK HIPPIE]

"Wisdom of the Elders"
(Oraibi, Arizona Hopi Nation)

There is a river flowing now very fast.
It is so great and swift, that there are those who will be afraid.
They will try to hold onto the shore.
They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore,
push off into the middle of the river,
keep our eyes open,
and our heads above the water.

And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally.
Least of all, ourselves.
For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves!
Banish the word 'struggle' from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
WE ARE THE ONES WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR.

Thank you for the warm welccome. I have my morning cup of freshly brewed coffee (finally). Thought my reasonably new coffee maker had died on me and was so very unhappy. Borrowed Kristen's and it wouldn't work either. Tried on the two outlets on one side of the kitchen--no deal. Took it over to the opposite counter and it worked fine. So discovered that I needed to reset the outlets--a simple push of the red button in the middle of the outlet did the trick. LOL--it was too early for clear thinking on my part. Now that I have coffee, I'm sure I'll be able to start thinking a little better and use my problem solving skills. Stop in at my place whenever you want some home cooking.

Don't ya just hate it when something goes wrong and it turns out to be something incredibly simple to fix......lol!!!

I will stop in and get food later......I'm still wondering what the hell I'm still doing up.......lol!!!

Definitely! I was seeing dollar signs and having to call an electrician. But I could tell by looking at the microwave that that outlet was working. I was so determined to have coffee! I still have a cell phone that won't charge--under my plan I can replace it after the 1st of Feb, so I'll only be a week without it. I can wait--toss up question here. Wait a week and upgrade to new phone for free or go today and spend $$$ for phone? LOL--glad I'm not tied to that thing. I rarely use it, but like the sense of security of having it on me while in the car in case of emergency.

If you can wait, wait is my response........cell phone companies get enough of our money.......we finally had to go off of the main cell carriers because the bill was getting ridiculous......we have had Straight Talk for almost 2 years now and it is the same price every month, and it is unlimited talk/text.....for $45.00 a month!!!!
