A great metaphor for decrepit capitalism. You get to scurry around at the behest of some sick rich person for a cash reward which may or may not be there and in any event will go to a small handful of peons.

Wasn't there some Russian oligarch a few years ago who delighted in tossing cash out his office tower window every once in awhile. Perhaps he moved to the US...or moved his little game here.
