And then some Jimi - Hey Joe

I was walking by a tiny hole-in-the-wall beer joint in the French Quarter many years ago. A 3 piece band was crammed into a corner so tightly, I couldn't even see the drummer.

You could have convinced me Jimi was still alive, white and playing for tips in that joint. Whoever they were, they were awesome and really doing Hendrix's material justice. Crazy though, I was the only customer in the whole place.

I never saw Jimmy Page in that light before. Interesting to see him before Led Zeppelin

A great song, but sexist, particularly by today's standards, lol.

I don't remember Jay Sands...but I do remember a guy named Jay Cooke...btw, I have heard of Cousin Brucie...as for Hy Lit, he passed away several years ago...I met him several times...I was surprised to find out, how quiet he actually was...also, that he and I had the same Birthday...I do miss him...:(
I miss a lot of the DJs from the 60s. At least Cousin Brucie is still around. Jay Sands alias Jay Sadoti is deceased. I remember when he hosted the Ag hall dances. Sometimes his wife would be there with their small children. She reminded me so much like Jacqueline Kennedy-Onassis. I have fond memories of those days. Everyone was always dressed up for the occasion. Boys checking out the girls and vice versa, lol.
