Imagine there is a bank account that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening the bank deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course? Each of us has such a bank. Its name is time. Every morning, it credits you with 86400 seconds. Every night it writes off as lost, whatever of this you failed to invest to a good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no over draft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no drawing against tomorrow. You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness and success. The clock is running. Make the most of today.:)

With a gross under utilization of my computer, I had to pull up the calculator.

There are, indeed, 86400 seconds in our 24 hour non-astronomical day.

With that verified, I shall try to pick apart the rest of your post...

Hmm.

Ah.

Got it.

Yes, make the most of your day. However, take the time to smell the roses.

The devil may be in the details (e.g. 86400 seconds) but I've found there are joys in many small things.

If you take the time to look at them...

Sometimes to be unhappy enables us to enjoy happiness when we feel it. For how would we know happiness if we didn't know what it was like to be unhappy.?

I am sure you will be happy again.:)

Once your are done skiing for the day, hit the bar for the apres ski entertainment.

Next, hit the hot tub. keep the beer/wine/organic free range cow milk/etc. cool in the snow around the hot tub.

Finally before going to bed, do some stretching exercises focused on the legs.

This way, you can get up and do it all over again.

Advice not necessarily valid to those under 25, but keep it in mind when the years fly by.
