Suspicious Device Left At Dog Store

Jan 30, 2014 Full story: NBC Dallas 26

The Stamford, Conn. police bomb squad responded to a puppy store Thursday morning, after a suspicious man wearing red lipstick that extended to his cheeks, like The Joker from Batman, placed a cell phone with a "suspicious external device attached" on the store counter, then drove away, according to Norwalk Police.

The man has not been identified and Norwalk police said in a statement Thursday they “hope to speak with [the] man involved, and return his phone."
---

Don't they mean return it to him after he gets out of jail?

If I was going to leave a suspicious device outside a dog store, guess what I would disguise it as? No wait, bad idea. Some dog would likely eat it.

True, but if you deliberately left it to create a panic or to threaten...

However no indication of that has been proven. Also it would be next to impossible to prove the act of forgetting your cell phone was to create panic. it seems to me the panic as created by the screw-ups of the Norwalk police department..Maybe they are the ones that should be arrested.

Arrest the police! LOL!

Then maybe get the person checked by a psychiatrist. Who would deliberately place a cell phone with an emergency charger in the middle of a sidewalk and then leave it?

For all we know, they could have just done a dry run to see what would happen.

So please stop making this something its not ..Did you ever forget your cell phone????

What are they eating? To me, suspicious devices often have wires sticking out, or timers on them, etc. I'd hate to see what a dog would eat to give feces that look that suspicious.:-)

Okay, I was extending beyond the story, but yes, the counter might just mean he forgot it.

My dog once ran up a 300 dollar text bill, yeah..I mean WHAT..??..didn't know she had that many pups in her litter of friends..

anyhow, I made her work it off by digging the post holes to put up the very fence that now keeps her contained in the back yard..

ohh, and I reduced her Verizon plan and added a few more numbers to her quadrupeds & family list.

I left my "device" on the counter once. The hot blonde clerk kept handling it until it blew its wad. When I came back for it, I had to clean up all the bodyparts and gore. Oopsies.
