Federalism is a system in which the power to govern is shared between national and central (state) governments, creating what is often called a federation. Proponents are often called federalists
The same is historically true in the United States. Advocates of a weaker federal government and stronger state governments are those that generally favor confederation, often related to early "anti-federalists" and later the Confederacy

They say the US is a true Federation with a strong central government but we have states right to which like the anti-federalist of Confederacy. States rights is were the Southern Confederacy get there power in the US. It were not for State Right the South would not be powerful at all the Central Goverment would be, and what the Southern States or the Confederacy want, less government, The Confederacy oppose the Union or Federal Government, they oppose right of women, slave, immigrate worker, they were mostly Baptist in relegion. It has been then way for Hundreds of years in this country were they started out as Democrates until the end of Slavery then they switched to Republicans, but still today the Confederacy or Southern States oppose Unions, Women Right, Civil Rights, Workers Rights and now Gays Right and they are mostly Baptist and Republicans and White.

Anybody that support Less Government or a Weak Government, No Government Health Care, No Government Trade Union, Government Regulation of Banks, Civil Rights, Women Right and Right of Thrid Sex people support the Southern Confederacy I don't care what color, ethinic or gender you are you support the Confederacy.

The federalists were opposed to a Bill of Rights feeling that all rights of citizens were implied in the Constitution, fearing a list of particular rights would give the federal government the power to deny civil rights not mentioned in the list of amendments. The IX Amendment was designed by the Federalist Madison to prevent this, but has become just an instruction on how to tread the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.

I DISAGREE WITH YOU.Iam a confederate and proud of my history.But i do support the rights of others and so do many of us southern people.And we were know as [wigs] back then not repub"s.And i know many black and other people who support more power to the states than the gov.Just look what our so called big brother goverment has done to us.We are now owned by other countries and are in sersouis debt to them,heck they even own alot of prime land here and our jobs are over there in there cournty.so on so on ect.Each state should have the right to govern itself to some degree [more so than now]and have the power to say no to uncle sambo.I wonder if you are a true confederate or just live in the south.If you are then you would know your above statements do not hold water.esp. when you state white,male,baptisc ect.And you must be black,female,& poor to even write these half truths.I like to refer this type of comments as [obama effects]

On July 21, 1861 the First Battle of Bull Run occurred. It was the first real major conflict of the American Civil War. A Union army, consisting of 28,000 men, commanded by General McDowell, fought 33,000 Confederates under General Beauregard. The Union army, under pressure to crush the rebellion in the South, marched towards Richmond, but met the Confederate forces coming north from Manassas, a Southern base.

At the beginning of the five hour battle the Union soldiers had the Confederates on the retreat, except for one brigade commanded by General Jackson. Due to Jackson's ability to hold his ground and his stubbornness, the men saw him similar to a stone wall, hence the nickname "Stonewall" Jackson. Thanks to Jackson the Confederates were able to hold out until General Johnston showed up with 9000 reinforcements to help out Beauregard near Henry House Hill. The arrival changed the course of the battle and soon the Union soldiers were fleeing back to Washington. However, because of the disorganization of Beauregard's army, they could not pursue McDowell any further.

The battle proved that this was not going to be a one sided war for either side, as was predicted. The casualties soared to 2,900 killed, wounded, captured, or missing for McDowell's army and 2,000 for Beauregard's. The battle spurred a sense of victory in the South, pushing them on, and in the North a feeling for revenge.

You are hated all over the world especially by Thrid World people with You Cowboy, Chewing Tabbaco Policies, You have cause more pain and suffer around the world and to you citizens of you country then anybody in history, you are full of some much hatred it hard to contain yourself around a Man, Women, Northern, Immigrate, Catholic or Jews especially Gays. The is nothing Honorable about the Southern Conferacy and it there explain it to the devil when see you all in Hell!

As far as I think about Honoring the Confederacy, There is nothing Honorable about Pure Evil! Tell the Jews to Honor Hilter, and I don't care if called himself Socialist or Aryan he killed more Socialist and Aryan then he saved!

President Obama is just another spoke on a large wheel Hero to push our socialist Agenda accross this country and this world, if he get Universal Health then he done his part and we will do the rest. It is a long hard struggle and the Confederacy will not make it easy, beside since when did the Confederacy every like smart, black, democratic men and there taste and uncle Toms that the leader of there Republican party, emasculated black men like Michael Steele but hey, You know some blacks are stupid enough to join the Ku Klu Klan too, I am imagine they must be Confederacy Republicans too.
