Someone else here said this to me,
and I'm of the same thinking..

When you consider the young brother who
is left.. who tried to kill injure and maim so
many - irrespective of whether they
were children, mothers, fathers, pregnant women,
disabled and all people: run down his own brother in order
that brother wouldn't be able to give the cops
any info: had other trappings, prepared to
make more bombs:
and tried to kill himself RATHER than
give Law Enforcement ANY details of
any kind:

AND, after a botched suicide attempt,
he can somehow communicate by writing
notes????

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES he'll tell them
the truth?
um!!

I'd say

About as much chance as Dolly Parton
has of winning a flat chested competition(:

Don't dwell on it Grace. Violence has a stupidity the sane will never understand. Live life as you find it and revel in the joy it brings at the moment.

Good point Okimar, and thanks -
as you say violence on this scale
boggles the normal mind.

Indeed I do just that
every day, and have been for years >
'live life to the full'

It's true that this story is still
world news, even over here, miles away...

and since we all know the beginning
it'll be interesting to know 'the end

that's if there will ever be 'an end'(:

The new 'normal' in police state America: SWAT teams order innocent Americans out of their homes at gunpoint

(NaturalNews) In a police state, citizens have no rights and can be ordered around at the whims of a militarized police force whose goons run around in black uniforms, terrorizing the populace. Welcome to Boston, 2013. The police state is running wild in this city, and it has reached the point where innocent families are being ordered out of their own homes by screaming, aggressive,'roid-head SWAT teams armed with overwhelming firepower.

This is what has emerged from a secret YouTube video that had to be covertly filmed while ducking behind a window.

And...again, nobody is infringing on your right to carry a gun. A simple background check isn't the end of the world. But it looks like we'll never know if it works or not, will we?

Btw, the conceal and carry law is a relatively new law - it was not originally written into the 2nd Ammendment.

We have background checks NOW. NICS. It works,WHEN enforced. I have NO problem with B/G checks at gunshows,in FACT there ARE checks at gunshows. IF you buy from a DEALER it is REQUIRED by law. The "loophole" libs are whining about is the PRIVATE sales between individuals.

So,tell me. Just WHAT aspect of your life are you willing NOT to let the gov't in on? Are you okay with the gov't knowing EVERYTHING you do? And is it REALLY any of the gov't's business?(Gov't meaning people whom you don't know and WHY they would have reason to be in your business)

Neither was the term limit for the President. Nor was the right for women's sufferage or civil rights for minorities. Should we just ignore the new amendments and just focus on the ORIGINAL ones? Or maybe we follow the Obama doctrine and we just enforce the ones "most" people like..... Kinda sucky really.

They still know me - like a book.

I still have government clearances.

They're not at my door on a daily basis - but I'm not paranoid to a point that it keeps me up at night either.

Senator Ayotte, your precipitous 15% popularity drop couldn't be related to that ~90% of Americans who wanted you to vote for background checks...:(

You and your fellow CON Senators and Congressmen just keep ignoring what your constituients want and we'll see whether the NH voters will re-elect you!

In October, the last time that PPP surveyed voters about Ayotte, she had a 48-35 approval rating. She has now tumbled underwater, with 46 percent disapproving and 44 percent approving.

The polls on Ayotte match polls on Obama which match polls on Bush:

"More than four years after he left office, former President George W. Bush's approval rating now equal President Obama's, according to a new Washington Post/ ABC poll.

"Forty-seven percent of Americans say they now approve of the former president, while 53 percent disapprove, according to the poll, which surveyed 1,000 adults from April 17-21. Mr. Obama's approval rating also stands at 47 percent.

"Mr. Bush left office under a cloud of controversy, taking blame from the public for the 2008 financial crash, the Iraq war and his handling of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. In an Oct. 2008 Washington Post poll, his approval rating was as low as 23 percent. By January 2009, when he left office, just 33 percent approved while 66 percent disapproved.

"The former president's improved public image demonstrates how time out of office, and out of the public eye, can help bolster a politician's popularity. Mr. Bush may also get to refurbish his image with the opening of his presidential library this week on the campus of Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

"While his approval rating has increased in recent years, a majority of Americans (53 percent) still disapprove of his handling of the economy, and 57 percent disapprove of his decision to invade Iraq in 2003."
