It's NOT President Obama who wants to shut down the Government......IT'S Boehner and the GOP who are holding this Country hostage until they get their way......AND THAT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN.......maybe if the American people would seriously look at who is NOT doing their job, they'd see......but it is easier to blame the 1 who holds the title of President....but who truly doesn't have the power!!!

he knows the republicans will get the blame.
He'll get on TV and moan and groan about what
the "BIg BAd" reps did to hurt the economy, yes
he'll probably include a Bush hit or two.
Then Pelosi will jump in and say there's =no-place= to cut the budget.
What percentage of the national budget is used to pay government salaries, expenses, retirement, vacations, etc.
If gov. is shut down would that be a 12% cut in the budget?
LMAO

Because he's the president of 'No'.

Will I compromise? No!
Will I negotiate in good faith? No!
Will I work to bring the two sides together? No!
Will I take responsibility for my own actions? No!

When the House gives the Senate a bill which entirely funds the government and Harry Reid and President Obama say they will refuse it, it is clear Obama wants to shutdown the government.

All he has to do is tell Harry to pass it and sign the bill and the possibility of a shutdown goes away.

Simple.

This has been a given since O'bam graced the front door of the White house:

Obamacare Will Bring Drug Industry $35 Billion In Profit
Despite expiring patents on blockbuster drugs and a wave of new regulation from the Affordable Care Act that will cost drug makers, the pharmaceutical industry will reap between “$10 billion and $35 billion in additional profits over the next decade,” a new analysis shows.

O'bam wasn't in office hardly a month when out of nowhere a 'flu pandemic' hit. There wasn't any flu to speak of then. But O'bam's agenda screamed of what is to come.

40-some Tea Party Republicans in the House have Boehner by the 'nads. Boehner does want to retain his power as Speaker. And he has to deal with Canter,(R)-VA the Majority Leader who has play with that faction and has eyes on the Speaker position.

But Boehner's in that kitchen willingly, so the buck stops there, true.

It's been a long time since the GOP hasn't looked moronic. So, status quo.

Weapons of Mass Deception is pejorative expression used by some people to describe U.S. President George W. Bush's claim that Saddam Hussein possessed weapons of mass destruction as justification for the war on Iraq.

The variation Weapons of Mass Distraction has also been used by pundits and satirists. This punning alteration accuses the Bush administration of using the war in Iraq to draw the nation's attention away from other problems, such as the economic recession of 2002. The meaning was later inverted to describe Bush's alleged attempts to divert attention away from the war following a drop in public support for the war.

The Question is:
How can someone that puts someone else down so much use ( their ) same tactics?
Ahh! the *irony of it all!
* a pretense of ignorance and of willingness to learn from another assumed in order to make the other's false conceptions conspicuous by adroit questioning —called also Socratic irony
