Sorry about your boy's foot. I hope the healing on it goes as planned. No problems!

So do you drive for a company who delivers new cars from all the car brands? I know you've mentioned Chevy and Dodge. How many states do they have you deliver in? Be careful on those roads. My husband makes an 1 & 1/2 hour commute to work and then again back home again. He's seen it all and missed many many major road blocks and alternate routes only by chance.

I'm sure your family thinks and worries about you just as much as you do them.

Does anyone know of any home remedies for a bee sting? I got stung by a yellow jacket yesterday on my ankle and it's itchy, red and a little swollen. When I was a kid where ever I got stung it would swell up two times the size of the body part and stay red, swollen and itchy even with antibiotic's and a heat compress for a week. They even had me take Benadryl once back when you needed a prescription and before I knew I was allergic to it. I've been putting a cream on it for the itch and it helps for a little bit. I've also been taking Aspirin to help with the fever in it. Baking soda never works either.

I'm thinking Cancer is a horrible thing to watch someone go through. And trying to be strong reassuring them things will be ok. To have it smacked in your face that it's time to let go, and let the cancer take them. Thinking life can be cruel.

.....when i was growin' up the 'old folks' would put vinegar on my yellow jacket stings and ammonia on bee stings.....but i dunno if it will work on a sting from yesterday........i got stung so often i quit tellin' folks about it.......old wimmins would get carried away with 'treatments'.........

thanks SB, he goes in for surgery Tuesday, my little man has had a rough going with broken bones and he's only 6.
We haul all makes and models of vehicles and have hubs all over the U S. In 6 weeks I've been to Kansas, Ohio, Wisconsin,Kentucky, Illinois,( hate Illinois ) and tonight Michigan. We go everywhere though, as far as Virginia, or California.
I delivered 700,000 dollars worth of corvettes today, holy shit was I a nervous wreck! But once the dealer signs off the feeling out weighs the stress.
That sucks your husband has to make a long commute like that, but if it's like it is around our home town, it's the only way to make a descent pay check.

Thanks! Thursday night was the worst, it was oh so swollen it hurt to walk or stand on it. When I finely got to a point at home where I could sit with my feet up it was already 10 PM. I then used a heating pad until it started to feel a bit better. That was at 1 AM. Knowing I needed to get sleep because of work today I hoped since it started feeling better it would be by morning. Thank goodness it was..... As today went on my ankle's swelling went down and the heat went away. I'm still swollen and when I got home today I put the heating pad back on for about ten min. But it gets itchy when I use the heating pad, crazy itchy!
