I'm a widow and lost my husband to cancer also in 2008.
Yeah, it is sad and I think of all the fun we had and could still be having. Still, if you think about the time you had together and can be thankful for than it helps.
It's great to enjoy what your kids and grandkids do, but please don't live your life only for them. You are still drawing breath, you can "get out there" and live a good life. I have joined a lot of clubs and met new people and still continue to do so.
Check out Meetup.com . It's a wonderful place to find clubs in your area that have activities you might enjoy. I've joined 7 so far as not every activity a club has would be something you would want to attend.
Something you don't know about me, I like to try and help people and I hope my post has been of help to you, even though you were not asking for help.....
I'm still in love. It may never end.

Yeah I've seen you spit and get really ugly towards women here. No doubt your anger , obnoxious egsaggerations , inflamed unbalanced writings come from you taking your hate from your Mom (and distrust) on women around you . Gosh it's really bizarre to have read your cyber tantrums , I can only imagine how bad it is for RW women . Ouch !

Very glad he didn't get you liam. Must have scared you to death :-(
At age 8 I had a guy chase me away from his front porch with a knife when I was trick or treating. My Mom said that I probably just scared him...I don't think so since I was dressed as Bugs Bunny. Parents were kinda naive back then...
(BTW, really enjoy your posts and many threads)
It did indeed scare me to death, but being chased by a guy with a knife, while wearing a bugs bunny costume no less! I'm not sure which guy was more screwed up!
Still love bugs bunny and looney tunes, it's the one part of me that never grew up. We all need to keep a little something that makes us feel young inside us I think.
I also enjoy your posts and threads and appreciate your kindness. Thanx!

That's a pretty name!
I've gone by my nickname so long that I often don't "hear" my real name being called or paged in public.
Thank you! I can't recall anyone ever telling me that they thought Louise was a pretty name, till you. It makes me appreciate it more, too.

Vessel it did pass on but to me it was a stroke If you take a look that's why they call it mini stroke but I was in Hospital 3 night with test after test because it was bad now I look for the Damage in my face.

Plus I did have trouble with my motor skills , my speech and at one time could not lift my left leg or my right.

Beth writes :

My Mom had almost the identical situation . She recovered within six months. Had to work on her motor skills , walking , using the right side of her body. She did recover to normal functioning though . God Bless and God speed to your recovery .
