Actually, your rights have not been infringed. Paranoia and fear of the unknown are what is being served. Your rights are the same as mine. Your 2nd Ammendment rights are the same as mine. And the last time I checked, 330+ million people share those rights. The Constitution was written within the best interest of the majority - not the fanatical. Most gun lobbyists forget that - most of the time. The right ot bear arms does not specify what type of guns - so why aren't we lobbying for the right to own explosives, tanks and .50 cals? Afterall, explosives were legal back when the Constutution was written, right?

Not yet.. and OUR 2nd amendment right remain intact, until OUR right is taken away,,then , there is no choice....for either of us...taken away by the fearful and those who want control.. as for everything else, Its pretty simple to me.. My rights are in danger.. as for explosives,,and pinwheels..and carousels,,,, Im not quick enough to keep up with you,,, not even gonna try!!......:)

"WE" produce and ship all kinds of weapons allover the world, for the most part it's private companys doing it, but 'our' government is also a large contributor ('our' tax dollars). Much of it ends up being used against "US"!*Especially these last few wars we've been involved in*
So it the rest of the world of unstable powers can have this kind of weaponry why not "US" the citizens of "The United States" that's lost the lives of so many good men and women fighting not so much for our freedom but the right to rule other countries for =Political Reasons=?

Come off a 3-wheel Harley which I sold in the 70's.

Last used to saw a porta-let into not to mention a few trees. Back in the good'ol days. 100 rounds last a few seconds, but that's all it took, I'm a good shot.

The courts have ruled that you can own the arms a solider would be expected to have. That is why sawed off shot guns are not legal. The case went before the supreme court and it was ruled that they were not used in war.(Actually they were used in WW1)

You can own a .50 cal my friend. Completely legal. You can own some 20MM

Back in the early 80's when ammo was bought there was a register or log kept by the retailer as to what caliber/how much was bought and by whom. That didn't last very long as it was B/S,creating a paper nightmare for the stores. Also the ATF NEVER came by to look at or check the logs for ant comparison to crimes. It was merely another harassment tactic feel good provision so politicians could show the suckers they were earning their keep.
