Someone told me that I was too thin and if I ever get cancer I would not have enough fat in my body to help keep me alive, in other words, I would die faster. <shakes head> lol - that seemed like a silly excuse to let myself get fat..
Overweight people are more likely to develop cancer according to many studies.

I don't envy your profession..
We all know you're talking about your fat wife. She eats so much because she's depressed about being married to you.

I was told by my doctor that I have a thyroid condition and so does boyfriend, that it will make us more sleepy, and gain weight.. and it hasn't. But we watch how much we eat.
I don't judge either,,, but I find that most excuses people come up with for their weight problems are pretty pathetic.
I guess what I am saying is, there is no excuse for excuses..lol! And that is for anything in life.

Aahhh. But you see Cat.... You have taken pride in yourself... Just as you took and continue to take pride in your home. You work to keep your home beautiful. Repairing, cleaning, maintaining.... You have pride in your marriage which is why you find casual lunches for 2 outside of the marriage inappropriate.
You are of the few. You stay motivated, active and alive. You are aware and connected!!!
Why do you think they gave you such a hard time about you opinion on casual meetings and doing yard work after you've worked all day!!
Because you are far and few!!! ;)
Thank you.

That is good news that your thyroid condition didn't cause any issues with weight. It is good that you beat the odds and your boyfriend also. I think once someone knows they have the problem it can be taken care but sometimes it takes awhile to recognize the problem. And then they have the weight gain to lose. I think we all have something we could improve in ourselves whether it is weight, health overall, bad habits, or just being a better person. Wow oops think I just went offtopix and now I am going to get that damn lemon..oh well.LOL

Wishing you a Happy New Year.

It must be hard to be a health professional and watch so many people trying to kill themselves in various ways.
Especially fat/terrible diets, drugs and alcohol.

I'm a little confused. If the originator of this thread were to spend more time at the gym him/herself, perhaps they wouldn't hear so many complaints?

Actually, I do see fattys at the gym.
Problem is they don't do much while they are there, and then they go home and feel like they "earned" that half gallon of ice cream they ate......because they "worked" up an appetite.

uh, yes, you DO judge....hence the reason you have such a huge cadre of followers (read: non-fans)

not that you care,
carry on with your taunting of those that you deem unworthy, seems to be working for 'ya.
