We're really advancing technology wise, since a few couple of years.

I'm 14 at the moment, and I remember around 2008-2009, maybe 2010, when I had a really big monitor for my PC, it was one of those white/biege huge monitors for VGA input. Along on a machine with Windows XP. I still have the computer in the house, it's slow as hell, but I didn't really care at the moment I had it. Windows XP was pretty basic, right? Not many unecessary animations, not much of any extra style points on design.
It was beautiful - not too overreacting with style, but still some kick it it - perfect.

Now I'm sitting here with an iPad (we get one from my local school, as a device for educating). And I mean.. well saying from the point where Apple started with iOS, there's dumb little animations everywhere. Nothing can pop up, without waving or tilting a tiny bit.
Not only Apple, but let's take Microsoft for instance: Teir release of Windows 8. The blue screen of death is replaced by a big sad smiley and something like "Oh no! Your PC crashed". I mean, just What The Hell?

Everything you buy nowadays ranging from tablets to phones has have godzillions of animations and overreactingly transparent crap of an interface.
Why does it piss me off? Because people are really trying to make things better and better... I mean, by the time all 8-15 year olds nowadays are around 30, they'll be flying to work in cars..

I dunno, but I get so frustrated over it, it's so hard to explain. People under 8 are able to create videos with effects, that makes it fucking impossible to catch up with technology in 2030. To make it easier for Everybody, am I really the only one who wants to live in a 2008-2009 environment?? People playing PS2... YouTube videos on Xbox 360 and PS3 games has that grainy 240p feel... You don't have to PAY to play good games (Yes, RuneScape. Oh dear, future. You have to pay 8dollars/month for the developers, to be able to play the 2007 version, instead of the free one which is bombedwith animations).. When you had to convert sound files to a lower frequency, when loading them into programs..

Actually, here's the biggest reason why I hate animations.
Have a good fucking look at Google+. Oh, you're scrolling down? Let me bounce every fucking pixel a tiny bit to the side for you.
It's so dumb, people who makes these designs and animations just spits at people who tries and catch up with todays technology.
Just on this tablet that I'm typing on, there's nearly been 100 updates to my apps on App Store (which also just of course has to have a glossy stupid icon). For what?
Animations. To make them more annoying.. To make them slower...

And then theres crap like captchas. How YouTube, and many many games look nowadays.

If you don't wanna read all that, then I'll just skip to a huge question,
will we ever experience how we experienced technology, and our environment in 2005-2009? Wll gaming and technology companies keep trying to upgrade their stuff to throw everone else behind?
More stupid animations on things? More limits? More DRM and NSA?

*sigh*

Our bodies, or at least our presence in them.
Could every experience be done with an advanced program of a virtual world. Perhaps physically we'd keep alive by machines that would feed and exercise our muscles, and going real would be considered an old fashioned affectation

That may be closer than u think they can now download our thoughts and ideas and mannerisms in to life like robots so essentially parts of us could live on past our bodies. While alive we could have our robot us do our boring everyday things like chores and jobs while we would live in some sort of virtual world. Until the machines get smarter and out think us and take over like in terminator.(Twilight zone music)

The future - unnecessary things?

http://marshallbrain.com/manna1.htm

If anyone even bothers to read that, the beginning stages are already happening now.

The later chapters of the Australia Project is just wishful fantasy.

But there was a few sentences in there that explained what will happen to the US. Or should say, is already happening.
