I'm thinking about that dream I had way back, to have a band and we would write and play songs expressing life, love, and the way things out to be. And have lots of fun! But, as time went on, I never got that chance. But one can dream. And I still do fiddle daddle with poetry and my keyboard once in a blue moon.
Wow! No bites ; ) Anyone want to start a band? Think of all the fun it would be, it's never too late! i Speak Out and bring attention to the bad things going on, or the good things going on the world.
One can dream, but that's the kind of band I would like to be in. No dirty words, no sex, just singing about life, love. I like the Eagles style for example.

Lizz ,

My step Mom used to play her violin in an orchestra . She put it down after she married my Dad which brought with him 11 kids. God bless her. Anyway , she picked it back up taking classes to regain her ability to play it. Now in her 60's she is back playing with an orchestra . Really cool . Yes it is never to late .

See...there u go. Who says that band members have to be teenagers? I was thinking of learning to play the violin myself, always wanted to play. Good for your stepmom!

Definition of irony...
After many twists and turns we sold
the Pete last night. Just too much $$ w/
no guarantee.
For the last week we've been leasing a
Freightlines (w/the option to buy) and
really like her. She gives off a good vibe.
And she's the truck in your avatar pic,
white and all. lol
Does yours have the apartment sized sleeper?
my freightliner has a double bunk sleeper, I think that's considered apartment size but I had never heard that before. Still a rookie I guess!
When I started driving it there was 319000 on the engine and now there's 475000 and the biggest expense has been new tires. Definitely a workings mans truck. Parts are reasonable and easy to get and my boss paid 42000 thousand cash for it, which I thought was a hell of a deal but you see them every where for under 50 grand.
I really like it but its really the only truck I ever drove. I think you guys will like it although I've heard the ride isn't as smooth as other trucks, that's why they call em freight shakers.
She's got a 60 series Detroit which is supposed to be a million mile engine.
Can't think of any complaints about it.
Okay, I'll shut up now and pop another top! Good luck!!

This is my absolute favorite truck driving song...

http://youtu.be/wHbGhEfnh2E

I never knew what a Georgia over drive was until
another trucker told me it was when you disengage the tranny while going down a hill.
I've yet to try it!

I was thinking earlier, how hard could it be to take the light switch in our bathroom that turns on the light and runs the fan and change it so there was a switch for each of them. 5 hours later I'm thinking WTF was I thinking!
No wonder electricians make so much money!
