I'm thinking how nice it is to be back on the internet. Three days without it has been pure agony.

You know, I sat here and thought, lightening bugs or fireflies. To me, they will always be lightening bugs.
My yard is exploding with them this year.
Is the small things in life that bring on the most excitement. A wonderful breath of childhood.
Hold tight on your storms. Is a real train wreck. Just keeps drifting up from the south.
I love lightening bugs, they always make me feel hopeful..lol,, cheesy I know..
My neices were here from California several years ago, our back yard was flooded with them... they had never seen them.. I still remember the fun they had running through them...and catching them..
precious memories..

Is a very thing, the whole time I lived out in California, I never once even thought about lightening bugs.

Had the same thing with folk from Texas come to visit and get to see lightening bugs for the first time. Never gave the wee bugs a second thought while living in West Texas.

Think out west is way to much to see...makes a body forget things from back home.

We used to love lightening bugs when I was a kid.

My family has just noticed, in the last few yrs, that
we don't see them anymore.

The entire area is heavily wooded and we should see
them every night......I wonder if pollution has something
to do w/them disappearing?
