The big guy was waving the flyer with that ad in it under my nose all week! I think we may be having ribs from target if he gets his way as well! Never bought meat from target before... is it decent quality?

Sorry Shady Bits - I didn't see your Q until I posted.

I don't know if I'd want meat from Target. It does make you wonder. Where would it come from?

Me too! Bad thunderstorms this morning, but thankfully, no tornadoes.

I'm thinking about helping out at a bike run fund raiser for the tornado victims on Saturday. Should be fun and for a good cause!

We don't have a Target food section around here . This reminds me of Walmart . Just yesterday I brought back items we just bought . Hawaiian rolls and hamburger buns . They had some kind of small flying bats in them . So Walmart shoppers check out thoroughly the bread goods you buy .

I've never bought food from target before. I've bought canned & boxed stuffs from walmart thought. Bought sour cream from there once for tacos, got home and made my tacos, opened the sour cream and it was completely moldy...all green. Totally gross. Peeved me. I love sour cream on my tacos!

Makes me not want to buy from there.. How gross finding green mold in sour cream.

Hey Sistah Reebie! I had to get off of the computer for a bit this morning. We were having power flashes from the storms, but they have passed us now and moving NE.
Volunteerism is very rewarding, for me anyway! I did commit to the bike run, which should be fun. I'll be helping with the food. After that, I'm going to help a co-worker pack some stuff to move to storage. Her home was damaged, but not leveled. Still....it's not habitable right now. Just so much going on!
Have a great day, my sistah!

this is good! I have not done this by myself, but I know I need to keep the smoker in the 'art studio/shed' to keep the temp consistent. as the charcoal burns out, is it a good idea to get some hot in the weber? so not having to start over in the smoker?
...nah....if you will be there just keep an eye on the charcoal bowl....tossin' in several pieces at a time (right outta the bag...i use lump charcoal) as necessary won't hurt if you can spread them around....and openin' the front door to check the water/"fire" won't mess with the temp much....but control the urge to lift the lid.......
