Hi Jeffrey, it might be 12/21/12 for the deadline.

If the world can get thru all that might happen (I should start a thread about what everyone might think could happen 12/21/12, but probalily won't), that bring us to the summer of 2013. Looks like the Yankees might be thinking they can't beat the Red Sox then, so not just are they trying to "beef up" their team with a new player or two, they are also taking one from the Red Sox to weaken that team as well at the same time/trade.
