Remember when the encharito came in an aluminum tin? And the tort was soft corn? I worked for Taco Bell from 1978 to 1980. We had the "Bell-Beefer", which was the meat in a burger bun. We also had the "Beefy Tostada". They had just gotten a "Cinnamon Crispy" fryer when I left. Anyone been eating Taco Bell for 30 years?

When I worked there, the regular items were 59 cents. We had no inside seating, only outside, and it was limited. Three concrete tables and benches. And no drive through! We were right down the road from a "Sambos" restaurant, and a "Bob's Big Boy". We opened at 10:30 a.m, and closed at midnite.

I remember Sambos, they didn't serve hash browns.

Bob's kinda went away, but there's just a handfull around, original menu is history, including the famous "not on the menu" CHERRY-LEMON-OJ drink.

The old Bob's structures were bought up by "Carrows" restaurants (they suck).

Loved the Bell Beefer!!! I have been calling the Taco Bell Corp. for 7 years now asking for the Bell Beefer to come back. No response. That's ok Del Taco has one.

Can still get Encheritos with red or green sauce. Pretty good. Seems like everything on the menu has gotten smaller.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
