Chinese river choked with pig carcasses

I think they are just trying to set the record for largest pot of won ton soup. After the pork soaks for several days, add large won ton noodles, scallions, stir well and season to taste....

Likely to originate in China: E.Asians & Chinese are predisposed to viral infections.

Pandemic transfer of virus from one species to another may pop up anywhere but in most cases such as the Hispano-Mexica swine flu of a few years ago it struck only a small part of the Hispano-Mexica population closely related to patient zero (a tax inspector). Resulted in a lot of useless Hispano-Mexica swine flu vaccination jabs for people genetically different to the Hispano-Mexica population.

Pandemic will pop up in an area predisposed to viral infection, but the population related to patient zero may not be there at the time.

This is the reason why the bulk of the human population is still alive, and no major pandemic has yet hit.

Look out in this case for an outbreak of the squitters & trots. Lots of dead pigs in Shanghai's water supply will cause lots of trouble which is probably why the lowlife food sector dumped all its condemned pig carcasses in that one river.

Probably a case of "crapping on the officials that get in your way".
