Inger Stevens was a horn in her day. William Windom (not a horn) seemed to be in every tv programme for a few years. Maybe he was the subconcious cause of us buying a Toyota Windom! Ha!

Bonanza was the first TV show televised in color. After Gunsmoke it was the longest running & most successful western in US TV history.

I just knew you had a great sense of humour! I always felt that Soap was almost british in it's sheer warpedness, but underlying reasoning. Maybe they had some british scriptwriters?

William Windom was the grandson of a congressman. It's about time
It's about space
It's about two men
In the strangest place. Ooh! Ooh!
Thanks! Opistoglyph. you caused me to find some brain cells. I remember Twiddy and Muldoon. Joe Ross and Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster).

Can't exactly recall what she wore? Was she clad in jeans? Most likely a long skirt because her legs were short and her upper body was long. You can see that taken in effect in "Double Indemnity," a really great movie. She was a great femme fetale in that.:)
