Copied from comments - posted on CNN a few days ago -
Yep - this Sterling guy is and has been a Creep !

"Word -

Interview former Mark Wilshire Tenants that were pushed Out by Mr. Sterling (after he purchased the property during early 2000's) specifically for having been long term African-American tenants.

Law Suits were initialed and records of such, do exist - equal opportunity went out the door for potential African-American renters and; for long term tenants - every push was made to ensure that they fled."

ONLY if you're white.....
Be carefull what you say in the privacy of your own home.
It just might cost you.

Let's turn the tables......shall we

If a black owner tells his girlfriend he don't want her bringin no white folk at the club or ' wherever ' and she goes public because there's money to be made.......

Us white folk would ' laugh ' because we could'nt care less!

Contractually??? Conduct detrimental to the image of the league(NBA)

Morally??? He is a bigoted A-hole

Everytime someone starts yelling Freedom of Speech I have an exercise for them: Send an email to your boss tomorrow telling him/her what a self righteous douchenozzle you find him/her to be and when you get fired start screaming freedom of speech at the top of your lungs.

Somehow we are so disconnected from the First Amendment we believe freedom of speech comes with freedom from consequences and that just isn't the case...

Tally, as a former judge you should know better.

Dave, I agree with you. Completely.

However, I still can't get over the double standard that is in plain view here. Spike Lee is one of the most vocal racists there is, yet he is prominently shown at Knicks games all the time; why is it that none of those calling for this owner's head has ever called for such a high-profile racist as Spike Lee to be banned from attending games? I can't believe people overlook the double standard and hypocrisy going on in America right now where racism is concerned.

the league imposed their rule .. not a court of law so his freedom of speech is still intact ... common sense should have told you that

he said he didn't like blacks .. so

Spike Lee is a customer of the NBA not a team owner. You could ban him from attending games and it wouldn't bother me a bit.

He should have sold the team sooner if he was against following the rules of the league in which he is a team owner...have you listened to the tapes Tally??? He said a lot more than he doesn't like blacks...he basically considers himself a slave owner and that was evident in the comments he made about Clippers players.

The real tragedy here is anyone that likes to watch ESPN now has to watch commissioner Silver hand down his punishment five times a day for the next week.

Everyone ask themselves... where does it stop? It's the popular opinion that matters most, and the media outcry voicing it very loudly. Sure I think a he's rich, jerk, bigot too....but.

We don't like them because they're Atheist...let's cast him out... says the popular opinion & media.

More examples: Christian, Muslim, Male ,Female, White, Black, Yellow, Purple, Short , tall and no we don't like tattoos.

No I don't feel sorry for him, he's an a$$ when most of his team and most of the league is black. He profited off of this. But the those that feel like the NBA commish made such a great call, had better damn ask themselves: Where does it all stop?

Hitler and his nearly successful agenda only had a stopping point when it cost several countries many , many lives. We seem to be heading for a Marxist/Socialist form of government, where they will be in control of nearly everything. The doctors you see, health insurance, the food you can eat, how you spend your money, control of internet, one day the amount of children you can have. Before some you say I'm overly paranoid: some of these steps are already in progress.

Just about half a heartbeat away folks.
