Judging by other forum replies I'm sure she would have "had it coming"
I was thinking the same thing. It would have been a "justifiable shooting of a dope-head" to at least five posters on this forum.

Who in their right mind would stash their stash in a box of chocolates? Just the shear stupidity of the situation requires some form of intervention from CPS as to what else could be happening in the home if this is happening. Now with that said, they were stupid, but don't be just a stupid with your posts. The kid should be removed from the home? Are you CPS? let them do their job please. What would have happened if they would have ate it? WTH? Seriously if we cannot respond in more intelligent posts these parents aint no worse than the posters.

The majority of the posts here make me ill. To politicize a serious incident with a FOUR YEAR OLD and somehow compare it to a Drug bust gone bad is ridiculous. This is about parenting. A parent who obviously has illegal drugs in their home and was so "Out of it" they had no idea what their child took to school. And somehow, because it's pot and their seems to be a rampant movement to justify it's use, that most here have made light of this incident. For what reason? Are you going to tell me once again it's no worse than alcohol so it's okay? Well what if it WAS alcohol she took to school? Or what if it was a knife or gun? I think most here would be singing a different song of ridicule against this incident. Many gloss over this and try to re-direct the problem of a drug bust gone wrong. One has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the other. EVEN if pot were 'legal', having a 4 year old take it to school is pathetic. I don't think I've ever heard of a 4 year old taking a bottle of whiskey to school. But if I did, I would be justifying it just because it's 'legal' to have. Should the parents lose their child over this. I'll leave that to a Judge. We already don't have enough good homes for kids whom need them and if we started taking kids away from drug addicts and alcoholics we'd have exchanged one problem for another is all. I would NOT hesitate to threaten the parents with removal of the child if they get caught with pot again.

Yes, actually, the child should be removed. This IS a big deal you dope. I hope that you do not have kids. Prob not, you certainly don't communicate with the maturnity needed to be a parent. This whole issue is a perfect example how stupid pot makes people. Not dangerous my a55.

No wonder the kid has such a ravenous appetite for Doritos.

All the posts that I have read this morning about removing the child from the home seem extreme. We all make mistakes and it’s not like they were using her as a mule! How can some of you even judge the parents as being neglectful? We don’t even know the family or the whole story. It was an accident plain and simple. S*it happens life is way to short to go all fire and brimstone about minuscule moments in time.

I finished raising my kids years ago moron. when you didn't have to wear a helmet to ride a bike, and could drink out the the back yard hose, and smoke a little pot without some over crazed dumbass looking over my sholder at every turn. we used to be able to walk down the street w/out fear of having our kids taken from us. I'm betting your "holyer then thou" attitude gets you a long way in life. just not around me please.

Anyone who has tasted the "brownies" knows it's a harmless drug. His mother probably mixed up the batches and hubby had to stay straight at the factory.

No after lunch buzz for him!!!!!!
