So...would you rather have your kid on the field or behind the stands selling pills...sports build self discipline and character.

I just think it's better to have my kid not end up in the hospital due to brain damage from hitting his head in football or have a concussion from being beaten up by the other players. Football causes a lot of medical problems for boys.....I just can't believe people didn't notice it until now.....

Then I suggest you don't let them drive....

The steroids are key. Add to the aggression inherent to religions too.

You know it's okay to type "God banner" it's not a dirty word! Unless of course you are afraid your keyboard will burst into flames or something if you type His name...

Is anyone here really familiar with the First Amendment and its provisions for the separation of church and state? What it says is "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof ...." and Article VI specifies that "no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States." Separation of church and state does NOT mean you can't have an expression of your religious beliefs displayed on or around government property! That is something the God haters seem to have gotten away with lately, and it was never the intention of that constitutional amendment provision.

Maybe there are certain things decent people never joke about. Nobody said it wasn't a joke. You can take a joke AND support free speech for the right wing and all who do what is right.
Would it be funny to joke about God causing those who joke about Christians to be blinded, raped, maimed, and to lose their kids? And if someone doesn't get just a joke, would it be right to use the excuse, it was just a joke, and then make sexual digs about them for speaking up and not pretending to like an offensive joke they hate? If jokes against Christians are good, why not gay jokes, Black jokes, and jokes about women who were too stupid to avoid sex or use protection and who must murder as a form of birth control?

It is OK for many people to type this, unless of course they are Jewish and holding on to their beliefs. You are aware of this right Jengi?

How much money does ISD KOUNTZE have? They lost in court. So instead of saying "You WIN!", they appeal. This appeal is going to cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, maybe even millions.

SO YOU CAN LOOK AT THIS TWO WAYS:

1. Your children's education is going to be reduced by the lack in money to provide the best education opportunity because of this wasted money.

OR,

2. The KOUNTZE school board is taking the "Norma Rae" approach to protect religious freedom. Once this goes to the US Supreme Court the battle for religious freedom will be engraved in stone once more.

I am hoping it is the second choice, otherwise I would think a Recall of the school board would be in order.

So when their football team loses, is that saying God favors the other team better?

Or do they have more sins to atone for than the other team?
