I finally today checked the calendar and see that my beloved grandson will be here that day...so I don't care.
I guess I worry about leaving my family, because I know the pain of death and hate to have that happen to them..but if we all go together, I have no fear.
So I see 27 days OR
648 hours
well yesterday was a significant day indeed for you Debra27.
I guess I worry daily about leaving my family and though I know there would be sadness I am more worried about the fact that I don't have life insurance and that all we worked for would be in jeopardy. We hope to each get it after tax time this year, as long as we make it to the new year that is!
So today were down to 26 days. A lot of changes have taken place since this countdown has started, but I will always remember starting a wonderful friendship at the beginning of it.
Friends till the end! Hahaha!

Yes, that's a good idea. There will be a long line at the gate, and we should look our best while waiting.

i wonder how many people are really worrying about it.

i dont care for myself, i dont even believe it, but If it did happen, i think about all the little children who havent had a chance to really live and enjoy life. then again, they also wont have to face life with all of its hardships either...

I stopped at WalMart for my TP and ZipLocs on the way to work today and noticed they have part of an aisle devoted to the survivalist crowd...of course, my mind went to the whole doomsday thing. I wanted to make light w/someone, but I was there very early and no one was near me.

I had no idea there was such an item as dehydrated butter...anyway, for anyone that is really worried that they may somehow survive and yet not be prepared to survive...I would recommend going to WalMart and stocking up.

I only left with the TP and ZipLocs (and a bottle of generic Tums)

Big bucks to be made in the survivalist industry. We know several people that have at least three months or more of food, the dehydrated type.

Saw a commercial for a show regarding pre-fab survivor bunkers being sold by a company. They looked like a gas tanker truck. I think they get buried under ground and it's like a small house inside. Asked who their clints are and they said usually top level CEO's of large companys...... i.e. rich people......lol

Yep, the poor couldn't afford it. The funny thing is, money won't matter in that type of a situation, food will.
