One of her claims to fame was being able to talk to the dead. I wonder if she talks to herself now.

She told Larry King she would die at 88.
She was 77 according to the obituary.
But every one knows that TV adds 10 years to your age. ;b
She will probably go down in infamy as the most disliked and untrusted psychic to ever botch a reading.

On a side note; the psychic Jean Dixon, supposedly predicted JFK's assassination.
In January 1963, Dixon said Kennedy would be dead before the end of the year. By April, she predicted that he’d be shot, and, in October, that he would probably die in his first term. On 13 November, Dixon tried warning Kennedy that he would be assassinated if he traveled “down South”. She told radio host Long John Nebel:“Something is going to happen to Jack this week” and, on the 22nd, allegedly announced:“this is the day it will happen”. A shroud she saw over the White House had darkened and she phoned Nebel to say that the President should not take part in any “political thing” in Dallas: one and a half hours later, Kennedy was dead.

"And some time make the time to drive out west
Into County Clare, along the Flaggy Shore,
In September or October, when the wind
And the light are working off each other
So that the ocean on one side is wild
With foam and glitter, and inland among stones
The surface of a slate-grey lake is lit
By the earthed lightening of flock of swans,
Their feathers roughed and ruffling, white on white,
Their fully-grown headstrong-looking heads
Tucked or cresting or busy underwater.
Useless to think you'll park or capture it
More thoroughly. You are neither here nor there,
A hurry through which known and strange things pass
As big soft buffetings come at the car sideways
And catch the heart off guard and blow it open "

What's more stupid than wasting time posting a song you're listening to? Discussing the death of a celebrity on a dead pool thread. Stupid dumfuvks! Get lives!

A bit more:

Nelson Mandela, who spent 27 years as a prisoner in South Africa for opposing apartheid, then emerged to become his country's first black president, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize and an enduring symbol of integrity, principle and resilience, has died at 95.

The announcement was made by South African president Jacob Zuma.

Mandela spent almost three months in a Pretoria hospital after being admitted in June with a recurring lung infection.

LONDON -
Peter O'Toole, the charismatic actor who achieved instant stardom as Lawrence of Arabia and was nominated eight times for an Academy Award, has died. He was 81.

O'Toole's agent Steve Kenis says the actor died Saturday at a hospital following a long illness.

O'Toole began his acting career as one of the most exciting young talents on the British stage. His 1955 "Hamlet," at the Bristol Old Vic, was critically acclaimed.

He got his first Oscar nomination for 1962's "Lawrence of Arabia," his last for "Venus" in 2006. With that he set the record for most nominations without ever winning, though he had accepted an honorary Oscar in 2003.

A reformed - but unrepentant - hell-raiser, O'Toole long suffered from ill health. Kenis announced the death in an email Sunday.
