Full story: Watersblogged

I realize this may not be possible for most people, but if I lived in Oklahoma, or any other state that has a lot of tornadoes, I would move away for good if I could.

I never said there was a state that doesn't have natural disasters.
However, some states are more prone to disasters than others.

I simply indicated that if I were able to and had the option to,
I would not want to live in a state that tends to be prone to
certain disasters.

I meant no disrespect to Oklahoma or the people that live there,
but just as I would not want to live in California because of the earthquakes or New Orleans because of the potential hurricanes and floods, I would not want to live in Oklahoma because of the increased threat of tornadoes.

you are being disrespectful. we have bad tornado seasons occasionally and you act like we've taken up residence in Chernobyl. people have lost thier homes and lives, your first thought is to come to this forum and tell us all you wouldn't want to live here?!

here's some perspective for you. you sound like an ass but I'm simply indicating you sound like an ass so that makes it ok right?

My first thought is ' typical ignorant Okies '.

No one wants to live there expect the natives
who don't have sense enough to see how stupid
that is.

my first thought is mr perfect used the wrong word, it's EXCEPT.

second thought is you live in texas which is prone to the same natural disasters as Oklahoma and then some.

third thought is you should probably troll a new forum because the regulars here know you're a fraud.

Southlake Texas has never had a tornado. Ever.
Same said for Grapevine adjacent.

Yet, Okies continue to rebuild in the paths
of the world's largest tornados. Year after year.

Very slow learners ( the ones not killed ).

Lets put things in perspective, shall we? There is not a place on this earth that hasn't experienced some sort of disaster. If we all moved to the places that were least likely to have a disaster, there would be no room for anyone to reside.
My sister lost her home, animals and everything in the El Reno tornado. Her home had been there over 100 years.
Lets remember the people who lost their lives and consider helping our neighbor no matter where you live instead of putting people down for their decision to stay in a place that they love.

You are half right.
And just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't or wont.
Texas has had a lot of tornadoes also.

Never has been a disaster here in Southlake/Grapevine.
Yes, Denton Creek flooded in 1849. Grapevine Lake
sits on top of it now. No disasters here in Rich City.

Your sister must be sad. Too bad she failed to see
the light earlier. Only herself to blame.

Again.'never been' doesn't mean there never will be. So if and when a disaster strikes your town, will you blame yourself?

Disasters happen everywhere and in this great country we gather together to help one another but I feel for the people that lost love ones and homes but I was wondering people are asked to give and do so
without hesitation but i would like to know did the local hospital's and doctors give any thing to the cause. I bet those who where hospitalized also got a big bill when they left the hospital I would like to see some local reporter check this out?

Really Sherlock, April 4/3/2012 Arlington, TX was hit by a tornado and Arlington is within the 635 loop as is Grapevine, TX as is your Southlake adjacent. The fact that Texas has been hit multiple times by tornadoes recently including Millsap, TX., Ennis, TX., Granbury, TX., Cleburne, TX., on May 15th and the 17th respectively.

Failed to address my other points I see....
Anyway, you might want to scrub up on your weather history.
And stop trolling, because you suck at it.

Those that left the ER with big bills deserve it.
There ain't no free lunch. That's why smarter people
buy insurance.

Southlake isn't inside the 635 loop. Map reading just
ain't your forte. Never has been a disaster here in
Rich City. We're more concerned about avalanches.

Point being that Southlake community is bordered by 635 loop on the SE and you know it. Bordered on the west by 35W and the east with 35E. My post gave the general location along with further sources of information to verify tornadoes happen in your area. Furthermore, the official website for the city which you claim to live posted information dealing with the threat of 'tornadoes'. It's a little bizarre for someone who claims they live there not to know that tornadoes happen in that area. So either you are misrepresenting living there or really are the guy playing with rocks in your backyard tree house.

I said you have tornadoes in that area I was factually correct.

Hey Bud she said in her post that Arlington and Grapevine were within 635 loop and Southlake was adjacent. Which is correct, you are the one who twisted what she said in her post.

I kinda figure if I checked the website 'sissy' provided it would say exactly what she said in her post.

Guess your credibility doesn't mean much to you.

LMAO
