The History Channel had a program on not too long agothat discussed the world's creation. It also demonstrated the various changes in climate and how it got colder on the north for a period and colder on the south.

It addressed some about "man-caused" changes, but it was more or less nothing that really supported claims currently being projected as the end of our world.

Of course, even this program might of been only showing the light side of the issue and indepth research still needs to be completed before we have answers.
