Free Republic is not about facts. It is about hype, propaganda and misdirection. Only the brain damaged read it, but then they are mostly lost causes anyway.

Neither freedom nor politics has anything to do with the physics of AGW warming. Reality doesn't care. And the GHGs keep building up as they promote inaction.

It is more likely that the internet will continue to be a common media for all kinds of information and misinformation with some sort of 'review' rating system to distinguish the good from the bad. I give Free Republic two thumbs down and a dozen rotten tomatoes. ;o)

Seldom if ever have we seen this type of disinformation campaign against a public threat. The tobacco industries effort kinda came close, but then again smoking was just killing people not the planet. It's curious that I recall FF industries using the same pr firm that tobacco industry used.

Today, as the planet stands on the brink, it's unthinkable that people who know and understand what is a stake here and in the name of profit use disinformation to delay the inevitable collapse of the ff industry and anything else that emits co2 as a byproduct like cement.

I'm just amazed at the number of people that buy into this kinda crap. They call GW a political issue, a conspiracy theory and anything to avoid the scientific evidence.
