No get your facts straight. The story clearly says this is to replace their food allotment for what was lost on the 1st of the month but clearly the storm happened before the 1st. How can they replace something that shouldn't have been purchased yet unless the EBT card holder purchased the food knowing they had no power and it would spoil? Sounds like you need to get it straight.
First of all people do not get food stamps on the first food stamps are issued between the fourth and the 15 so for some people who bought all this food on the fifteenth and its now gone on the 20thfb thats a lost and i to was in the storm my lights was out for three days i live in a apartment building with no generator my food was spoiled 24 hours later!!!so this 8 hour crap can fly past thats not true this first of the month is not true

If you're on SNAP, how are you replying to this? And if you're not at a library, school, or some community center, shouldn't you be buying food before you're buying a computer or an internet subscription? If you're at work or at school, you need to focus on that and not worry what everyone else is thinking.
