This storm is the work of God Almighty, punishing Albuquerque for voting down the abortion ban.

Well, so much for the big storm, another fizzle.

I think my hometown of Carlsbad got a whopping 3" and I think it even got down to around (gasp) 30 degrees.
Of course we know what causes snow and cold air in late November.
It's ( shaking with fear) global warming, of course!

if it didn't happen at your house, it didn't happen at all.

Nobody was predicting much there anyway.

We are kinda snowed in here with about 10 inches on the ground. Of course, if we really wanted to get out we have a 4WD truck, but it's nicer to stay home with the family. My daughter used me as cannon fodder in chess.

Sounds like a great day for sure. We had at most 1/2" of snow in the Abq foothills, too much wind for any accumulation. For me it was jigsaw puzzle & coffee time.

Jigs, coffee and I'm sure you also had a nice fire to warm your toes. We like jigs here too. My wife likes to play them online, but I am old-school and like to hold the pieces in my hands and fit them together.

I tried them on-line but they just aren't the same as relaxing at one on a table, doing the perimeter, then sorting colors, then patterns. Like you said, old school. I've a nice selection of them in the attic to do, a couple 2000 & 1-3000 pc but 1000 is about my limit. Anything beyond that would probably drive me insane, but it'd be fun to try<G>.

Plan to do the same in OK. They have been saying for over 10 days the next storm system will promise the cold, and will cause travel problems to some degree Sat and Sun.Best to do all the Christmas shopping now while it is in the 60s and lower 70's. Projected to get down to 9 on Sunday. If it does ice or snow it is not melting.

The chemtrails that jet engines spew on us are supposed to counteract the effects of increasing greenhouse gasses. I guess they just got a little heavy handed with the chemtrails and triggered these big winter storms by mistake.
