Outdated sewers can't prevent Metro Detroit floods; some blame global warming
Southeast Michigan's sewers need billions of dollars in upgrades, but probably still wouldn't prevent flooding that is overwhelming the region, experts say.

Maybe paving over every square foot has something to do with it too.
My lawn was bubbling as the water perked down. The driveway was just flowin to the drains. More perking means less flooding.
