A coastal storm moving into the area Saturday night will bring high winds and potential flooding into Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service. NWS announced Saturday afternoon that a wind advisory will be in effect from 8 p.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday for southern Fairfield County and parts of Long Island, New York City, South Westechester and Hudson.

We needed the rain but not the wind. Tippy and I are safe which is a good thing.

Omg it was windy last night! I could literally feel my house shaking and shuttering. And the rain wasn't falling as much as it was pelting the side of the house. That storm was unusual, that kind of thing usually happens in the fall.
