Didn't pack a whallop that was feared?Interesting,local weather forcasters were expecting a tropical storm not a catagory 2 hurricane.In case your not familer there is a big differnce.

My "local" weather forecasters work out of a place 1500 miles from here. It's a wonder they're not forecasting from Bangalore or Manilla.

The residents of Harlingen did receive the so called wallop. I know, I am a resident of Harlingen. I received fourteen inches of flood water throughout my home and it will never be the same again.
