To the families of these three children, my deepest sympathies in dealing with your losses. To the friends of these three children, I am so sorry that you are dealing with such a loss at such a young age. Please keep your faith in Christ and know that your three friends have been accepted into HIS arms. My son was a friend to James in school, and we will mourn his loss with you.

How very sad that what started out as a wonderful experience for a group of students ended in tragedy. My heart goes out to the families for their loss.

I am saddened to see the drownings here again in Playa Bejuco. I have lived here for the past 8 yrs. and drownings are common. There are no lifeguards. I took a ride on my bicycle this morning and counted all the big, colorful, metal rip current warning signs from the main beach road, down south to the river mouth. There were 5 signs along the beach which is approx 1.5 miles. There were 2 big signs right in front where the current drownings occurred. The signs are in English & Spanish. My neighbors all rushed down to the beach to try to save the victims. One even brought his jet-ski. We did our best but are saddened again to have lost lives.

You are so full of it! What you are saying is they could not read. I heard two washed ashore with a bible in the left hand and a hammer in their right hand. No one has ever displayed a picture of the church they will supposingly down their to build.

He is full of it. Sounds like John McCoy from Charleston SC who fled to costa rica and changed his appearance drastically, so he couldn't be found. He hates the US; and as I've heard about his rants about the US, he would never do anything to save a soul from the USA.

He is a fraud and a liar... a liar so bad that he believes his own lies. He has a multi personality disorder and tries to take credit for things he has never done or was ever a part of.

So you are right, he is FULL OF IT!

The two hotels located at Bejuco beach, plus the two large Gringo gated communities "Do not contribute anything to the safety of their customers". There are no life guards at the beach, the beach is never cleaned, and there are now muggings taking place even in daylight hours.
