I used to work as a farm hand for Ms. Willene. This is awful. I send my best wishes her way.

Could have been much, much worse. Thank God she and the rest of her horses are okay. Considering that the barn was a direct hit it's a wonder that any of her horses survived.

Dude, stfu. Those weren't just horses. That woman made her living showing and breeding them. Maybe you'd understand if something you had spent a couple decades building was destroyed.

If I had a barn full of about $130,000 worth of horses, I'd be upset about it being blown away by a tornado too. Just Saying.

why they sell insurance.sorry dude.
Insurance doesn't fix the emotional toll. I'd be more upset over a couple of horses dying than a couple of trailer trash dying to be honest with you.

You people are awful. If you're not an animal person then that's fine but don't sit on your ass and try to trivialize somebody else's loss. Good freaking God.

You are not in a position to determine what should and should not be of value to others. I don't like horses. Actually, I can't stand them. They stink and they scare the crap out of me but who am I to say that somebody shouldn't be devastated over the death of their horses just because I don't have the same compassion for them? As somebody else said, insurance doesn't erase the damage that has been done, it simply tries to band aid it with a monetary payout. You have no idea how much money, time, or sacrifices this woman had invested in her animals and her farm. 7904

If my dog had been killed I would have been upset. No one said that these horses were more important than people but they were lost just the same & they belonged to someone who cared about them...no amount of insurance will cover the hurt.I wish people would stop getting on TOPIX & getting mouthy because they don't see things the way other people do.

Insurance can't recover or replace a breeding and training program over 20 years in the making. Sorry dude.

As a person who helped raise and train alot of those horses, and my grandfather built 80% of that barn, I am completely appalled to the comments on this forum. May god be with Willene, the horses, and her late husband Horace, who was a huge factor in showing and training the horses. You can think your cool by posting whatever rude comments you want, but we all know the kind of person you are now. May god be with you too! Sad to see Precious Stones Stables be destroyed.

Thank you. It pisses me off to no end to see people make lightly of the misfortunes of others. Human lives may not have been lost in this accident but it is a tragedy none the less and it could have happened to any of us. The people on here complaining about the sympathy people have for Ms. Ogle need to get a life.

You wouldn't happen to know which horses perished, would you? I've been wondering. Thank God nobody was in the barn when this happened!
