Maybe all those idiots who stayed last time will leave this time. And if anyone should stay behind, then they should be on their own and the police/Army should not be searching for them. Do you think that GOD cleansed the city last time and now it is time for another re-cleansing?

The government is WAAAAY underestimating the potential of this storm. I worked in NOLA and Mississippi in late 2005 through all of 2006. The damage I saw was surreal. If this storm stregthens just a little and makes a direct hit just to the west of NOLA, this might me a city-ender. I have many friends in the Army Corps of Engineers who tell me off the record that the next contingency plan for New Orleans should the worst occur is abandonment.

Let them suffer, they wanted to live there, let them deal with it, no more gov assistance. When New Orleans was almost wiped off the map, it brought a twinkle to my eye.

Only 1,000 ugly pavement apes were made good by Katrina. I'm calling this right now -- 100,000 filthy, vile, dumb slave descended sewer apes will be trayvonned by Isaac!

The Army Corps of Engineers are fools who screw up anything they touch.

They are the ones who built levees along the Mississippi river without taking in to account the 100 year flood plan.

You narrow a wide river and add extra water it has to go some where.

Holland is half below sea level but don't tell that to the corp.

Only an uniformed uneducated idiot would make a blanket statement like that about the ACOE.

You don't know what you're talking about and you have your history wrong.

I have been all over the USA and not one single person I have spoken with including Vets has any good to say about the corp.

It is story after story.

In Florida they lied about the everglades restoration plan until citizens with their own money hired specialist and proved the corp was wrong and forced a confession from them.

The Hover dike at Lake Okeechobee is a disaster waiting to happen and that is just two of their F-ups.

My comments on the Mississippi are well known.

I mean, really!! this is the truth!!! The 9th ward flooded for a reason people....its supposed to be under water.....people are not supposed to live in an area that is meant to be swamp land and has a man made dike holding back nature...the area needs to be reclaimed and reverted back to what it is naturally supposed to be, and the people there need to move to an area that is naturally above the water table!!! DUH!!!!!!!

Issac carries just as much rain as Katrina did and that is what caused the greatest disaster.

FLOODING!

Both are 400 miles wide.

"Gee, I live below sea level and was too ignorant to relocate after Katrina. Help me once more, U.S. Taxpayer! I need your help yet again due to my incredible lack of common sense and total inability to pay into a relief fund or pay back all the money my gross stupidity has cost you hard working, intelligent Americans from the last time. I will stay here when the storm hits and blame all of you for not giving me another free ride. God forbid I line up and volunteer to help my local community. I find it much easier to point my finger and wait for a handout. After all, it is all of you "smart people" that made me so stupid."

Crappy Republiscum Garbage Jindal whining about not getting enough milk from the government teat he claims to despise.

Hey Jindal you creep, take care of your own or go get help from corporate America.

Bwahahahahahahahahhaha

Republiscum = hypocritical scumbags

"President Barack Obama issued a disaster declaration for the states of Louisiana and Mississippi, but Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal, who canceled his trip to the Republican National Convention, said the Obama administration's declaration fell short of the federal help he had requested for Louisiana.

Jindal said he wanted a promise from the federal government to be reimbursed for storm preparation costs."
