"Decline" is synonymous with "blacks".

Without accreditation the school is worthless. No federal or state money. They need to get it back quickly. I would love to see them survive.

The college has been operating unaccredited since 1997. I doubt it took 17 years to even build the campus 100+ years ago. The "black college experience" is obsolete in this day and age.

I cannot imagine any other local college falling into such despair. Alumni would step up and give whatever it took to make sure their alma mater survived. Is it a black thing?? It is sad and pathetic. Step up, you educated negroes.

The HNIC of the chemistry dept. should be arrested and forced to pay for the EPA's cleanup of the hazardous chemicals that were LEFT behind. Typical childish "not my problem" nog mentality. Now it becomes the taxpayer's burden. Black does it again.

Yes, I agree that colored people always ruin things ie. a decent education for colored people (colored people are those human beings who are not white: Chinese, Hawaiian, Hispanic, Vietnamese, Italian, Norwegian, Australian, Native American, Pacific Islander, etc. etc. etc....

I was in attendance at The New Knoxville College from January 1998 - June 2002 and let me tell you what Dr. Hallman told me in regards to me working with Knoxville Area Transit from May 1-30, 2002- For every $8.00 that you work with KAT, Knoxville college will pay you $2.00. Absolutely horrible! Oh what stories I have about Dear Ol' KC!!!!!

On the contrary, Decline is synonymous with those who do nothing and say nothing. Did you know that the prestigious university by the name of - Honolulu Univ., Saint Paul's College& Seminary(Minnesota), Saint Regis Univ.(Washington D.C.&Washington), Tennessee Christian Univ., Texas Theological Univ., Univ. of Northern Virginia, and a whole lot more colleges and universities that came under Decline and none of these colleges and universities and black colleges. Other ethnicities including White, oh excuse me for not being politically correct. I honestly mean Caucasian. Wow there is Asian in the word Caucasian. I believe that definition of those whose ancestors come from the region of the Caucus Mountains in Europe made that word on purpose, yes?

More buildings closed.

They've been given every opportunity to repair their buildings, to regain financial stability and to apply for reaccreditation. However, Knoxville College has seen its last days. They need to close permanently, raze the buildings, and sell the property. Morristown College(which was briefly owned by KC), has since been torn down and is in the process of being turned into a park. They should do something similar to the KC property. There are plenty of accredited colleges and universities in the area with updated facilities.
