I just want to stay under the bed covers on snow days. A nice fireplace and hot cocoa would be nice too.

Whether you see snow or grass in a given month tells you absolutely nothing about climate change. It's weather.

And people who try to connect one with the other usually are Birthers who think the earth is 6000 years old or don't "believe in" the Theory of Evolution, i.e., are scientifically illiterate.

AMEN!!!

I lived south of there, near Jamestown, NY., in the country.

I remember my Dad and brothers digging UPWARDS to get out of the house, then, standing on the drifts pushing broomsticks through the snow trying to find out exactly where the cars were parked!

Our house was a one story ranch-style, where the door was approximately 4 to 5 feet from the ground. We had snow drifts to the roof...

Dad was worried snow would bury the chimney. Not fun...

We've had almost no snow at all this winter other than the occasional light dusting. Bad news for farmers come spring.

in 1977 our waterline froze and we had to carry water from the pump house in milk cans for a month. Up hill. both ways. in the snow. and wind.
