How the heck is jarillo arrest with suspicion of vechicular manslaughter when he didnt even cause the accident! The person that did is dead. Just because he dosent have a license ? I hope this dosent hold in court cuz theres no grounds to arrest in besides him not having a license. Stoping on your brakes to avoid an accident is not vechicular man slaughter!!!...

wtf! so "Jarillo was driving the Suburban at about 50 mph, "observed the prior collision" and applied his brakes but he was unable to stop in time, Lutz said. Jarillo is an unlicensed driver and he was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter, Lutz said."

in other words: he was arrested for not being able to stop in time!? fucken racists!! thats some heavy bullshit!

Is Victor M. Jarillo an Illegal Immigrant?

If so, that would be rather alarming that it would omitted from the story.

2 illegal alien parents in a Suburban. It's their American Dream.

And don't forget director Bob Clark who was killed:

==========
Hector Velazquez-Nava, 24, of Los Angeles, was arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter in the Clark crash, Smith said.

According to police, Velazquez-Nava was driving a 2007 GMC Yukon northbound in the southbound lanes of PCH in Pacific Palisades when the SUV collided with Clark's southbound 1997 Infiniti Q30.

The suspect and his 29-year-old female passenger were taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries, Smith said. The woman was later released; Velazquez-Nava was still in the hospital as of Wednesday afternoon, she said.
==========

Yes, I know that Americans have accidents that kill people. But why should we import more bad drivers?

How many more illegal immigrants do you want to let in and allow them to drive illegally? You think it's bad now? It's only going to get worse.

After reading the headline and before actually reading the story I KNEW the driver was a Mexican. I can't even list how many people I know (including my wife) who have been hit by unlicensed drivers who are Mexicans (most of whom are here illegally). Yet our f---ing Congress won't do the right thing by securing our borders and deporting all these people. Pathetic how we are treated in our own country.

This is all because of you ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER, you let these POSs in to California to kill out kids. Then TAX us more so more can come here for FREE services. We have too many people here in California, driving on roads built in 1930s. Add on 15 mil* scum that should not be here, and this is what you get.

You are required to have a DRIVERS LICENSE and INSURANCE(like the rest of us) to operate a vehicle on California roads,he obviously did not have either and they need to throw his ARSE in prison then deport him and his family after he has served his time.Enough of these law breaking SOBs

It's Jarillos fault because if he didn't have a license he should of never been on the road.also how can anyone prove if it was a properly trained driver they might of stopped in time to avoid the accident.but the fact jarillo never took the required DMV tests shows he don't give a damn about anyone but himself. I hope the judge throws the book at him and if he is here illeagly deports him.

Unfortunately, nothing is going to change. CA is becoming like a 3rd world cesspool (where most of these people come from). These people don't assimilate. They drag down wherever they happen to migrate to the same disgusting level as the place where they came from.

An unlicensed driver and how many hit and runs have we been reading about also.
Having a driver’s license and insurance is the law. But elected officials of California do not want to offend anyone. I do not care what color you are or what your immigration status is, driving a car in California is not a right but an allowed privilege with a Drivers license and insurance. A Penalty of a high level felony should be applied if caught driving without both. Damages can be fixed but lives can not be replaced. How many unlicensed and uninsured drivers are we sharing the highways with?

Well good citizens here we go again,another unlicsened ,uninsured piece of shit ,out maiming and killing people without a care. The S.O.B. was chugging Bud Lights (the sungrinners favorite) while tooling down the highway looking for something to steal, he was reaching for his slim jim when he slammed into an other load of beaners out doing the same thing!!! send them back to beanlandia

It is SO obvious that this driver is illegal so why not state that in the story. It's just as much of a fact as the rest of the story. If he was on a suspended license, the author would have stated that. Whyyyy is this writer so afraid to say he is illegal? It's not racist. its a fact. Quit tiptoeing around it and report the news. its your JOB

Once again the driver of a monster SUV or monster truck proves that he's a reckless SOB of a coward who only cares about his/her safety while endangering others safety.

I propose all vehicles with a class rating of 2 and over be limited to the right two lanes and their speed be limited to a maximum of 55 mph with larger trucks limited to 45 mph. I further propose that all private, non-commerical (not used specifically for regular business transport) be assessed a special highway tax for the damage they do to roads, the pollution they cause, the fuel they use, and the danger they pose to other drivers.

Let the inconsiderate soccer moms and tiny weiner wonders pay for their cowardice.

I don't like the racists rants of the posters above. The issue is that Jarillo did not have a license and deserves to be arrested for driving. Is that simple.

I've been hit twice by individuals without licenses, one who curiously enough had insurance.

How the heck do you get insurance without a license?

For the record, the individual without insurance who crashed into me was Canadian. The one who had insurance was from El Salvador and had been driving car for only two months -- I didn't ask him if he was here legally.

doesnt matter. if your driving drunk and somebody else causes an accident that you were involved in, don't you think the drunk person is going to get arrested?? come on. no liscense that illegal should not A be in the country let alone be driving on the roads killing US citizens. but he'll get a slap on the wrist
