"First, not "degrees" but Celcius (C)."
Surely, you can't say that this is not a mistake, can you? BTW, name calling is childish.

NASA/GISS has their site up again. Here's the data. When looking at this data, notice how the US appears to be warmer on a consistent basis.

Since 1979, the time period of warming and satelitte data, 2012 was warmer than 1985 by .45*C. That was the year in the 33 year time period that had the largest differential in temperature. 2012 was .45*C warmer than 1985.

http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nma...

The year with the coolest values as compared to 2012 was 2010. 2012 was -.09*C cooler than 2010.

http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nma...

Aside from 1985, 1984 came in as the second coolest in the 80s and 2012 was .42*C warmer than 1984.

http://data.giss.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/gistemp/nma...

1987 was the warmest of the 80s and 2012 was .25*C warmer than 1987.
