I was also on this segment and I wanted to be able to leave an e-mail address for people suffering with chemical sensitivities can contact me to start a support group. If this is seen by the producers or others my e-mail address is [email protected] I would appreciate this being aired or at least mentioned on the web.
Thank you.

I was on this segment too and wanted to let anyone out there know that If you have some of the same symptoms or problems you can contact me at [email protected] I am trying to get a support group started. They were supposed to air this e-mail address but unfortunately didn't get it out. So, I am hoping that some people are actually reading this because I am the person who can no longer leave home and I want to find others like me out there. Thanks.

Rubber poisoning

In earlier times they called it rubber poisoning and it was common in people who worke in tire factories. The more you come in contact with it the worse your allergy to rubber becomes. It can be deadly.

Shea butter became my enemy. I scratched and applied more shea butter, and my allergy worsened. Finally, I discovered that shea butter had latex, and after I discontinued it, my skin cleared.

Even leftover shea butter on clothes irritates my skin. And it doesn't wash off well.

My sensitivity increases, and less latex and contact time is required to cause a reaction. Latex should not be used in public places.
