Exactly, humans according to history have been the most adaptable species thus far. Another question; do you know what the Vikings referred to New England as when they first traveled here? New Vineland, due to the extensive warm climate varieties of grapes that were growing. It was much warmer then in that part of the country. Then we had a long period of cooling. Also do you have any idea why the so called scientists changed the talking point of "global warming" to "climate change"? Because their predictions of a warming planet were not coming to fruition. This way they can blame any type of weather on humans. I realize that the topic of climate change is your religion and know one can change your mind but the jury is still out on the effects that humans are having on our environment. The true nature of the argument is about money not climate change.
oh yes the the all knowing jury....that lot acquitted OJ...remember?

UVA makes up over half the population. Once students graduate, they aren't sticking around to notice, and much less DO anything about climate change.

Different jury. The one that acquitted OJ were a bunch of uneducated racists. Johnny Cochran made sure of that during the jury selection phase.

sharks, alligators, crocodiles, horseshoe crabs, sponges, horseshoe shrimp, nautilus, coelacanth, sturgeon, various insects, and bacteria. Those are just ancient species. As a species we're younger than most primates. We're relatively fragile, but we're also very resourceful, too. Depending on your beliefs of when modern Homo sapiens came into existence, we've been here for a very short time.

No, that's only half the conversation, the other half is survival as a species. I know the thought of being wrong is too terrible to imagine, so it's easier to ignore or pretend that it doesn't exist. Ignorance is bliss didn't become a saying formed out of nowhere.

I know where you are going with this; to you humans are just another collection of the infinite strands of DNA that just happened to evolve to our present state. You have a very sad interpretation of life. However, there are one irrefutable fact. No other species here on earth has accomplished what we Homo- sapiens have in such a short amount of space time.

By the way, that thing on your lap or desk that you are typing words into is part of the human progress. And the car you drive and the food you buy and the thing you talk to other people on and the box in your house with magic pictures and sound are all part of the evolution of our species that you seem to hate so much. So until you get rid of all those items and move back into a cave and track down and kill your dinner with nothing but your hands then you are nothing more than another Al Gore hypocrite! Good luck with your future.

So sorry just one additional point. When you're trying to keep warm in your cave, please don't cut down any trees to burn. That causes pollution! LOL!!! You are such a shallow thinking I...D..I.O...T.

I could say the same about yours, but I don't care. I am very fulfilled, hard for you to imagine, I'm sure,; but then again, perhaps your imagination is all used up.

Anthropogenic modernization and technology is not the issue. There is a peolethora of anthropogenic technology that does not contribute to the deminishment of survival based resources, like potable water and breathable air... Not even a good strawman, but a strawman

You must not have graduated long ago. You obviously still have your text book handy. However I think you lost your spelling book.
