Good luck to everybody in the area. I'll be keeping an eye on the beach cams. Looks like this one won't cause too much trouble but it's best to be prepared just in case. Prayers sent to everybody there. I hope Diamond Jim's Steakhouse doesn't float away because I'm planning on taking my 2 friends, fastfred and GiveMeABreak to dinner there on my next trip down there. We are going to try and solve the problems of the world that evening and who knows we might just do it.
Blessings To All

We're from TN but we love Gulf Shores. The locals are always so good to us. Just wanted you to know we're praying this storm passes and all remain safe.

Well, I doubt that prayers will have any affect on the outcome. After all, for you believers in prayers, you might consider the fact that maybe it is the party you are sending your prayers to that is the same party that is sending the storm here in the first place. But, I thank you for having a good heart and expressing your concern in a way that you think might have some impact. Oh, and you are praying to Allah, aren't you?

Give Me A Break, it's so nice to know that you're such a compassionate, caring democrat who is so respectful of everyones individual beliefs. Going back to our conversation the other day, right there is one of the big differences between libs and libertarians. I disagree with the biggest portion of your rantings, but I'll stand beside you and fight with you for your right to state those opinions. Even if they are idiotic.

Well I'll be danged, you know how to use copy and paste and even use quotation marks. Good for you, you deserve extra time on the playground today!

As you might have noticed, I also used the word 'compassionate' as a noun and not an adjective which you used it as. Pretty neat, Huh? Oh, and by the way, your prayers seem to be working so far--nice and calm down here. Can you let the rest of us in on which one of the thousands of gods people worship is the one that you are using to get these results? That might help millions of people from wasting their time and money on Sunday mornings pissing up the wrong tree.

Nope, you need to figure it out for yourself.

No, there is none. It's just a figment of your parents brain washing. Just like every other religion has brain washed their children to believe in some other god that they hold as the "only one". Get over it. When you die, you are going about 6-feet down and that is as far as you or anyone else is going. Enjoy life here because there is no tomorrow. Don't waste your Sunday mornings in some church sleeping through a boring sermon. Go out and have a nice breakfast instead.

There is only one. He will still forgive you or you can continue the denial.
