For years landowners living next to streams have been told that they can't touch the streambeds or make any alterations at all without permission from GOD - sorry - from the powers that be - or else they would be fined.
Now those "powers that be" are reminding landowners that they need to clean up their streambeds cooperatively with their neighbors before the next run-off. Talk about wanting it both ways! Want to bet that as soon as this first runoff season passes the rules will once again be "hands off!" ?.

Are we paying a Town Planner? If so, start having 100 ft setbacks from the streams like we proposed in the 90s and ENFORCE them ( not grant exceptions).
