Explosion destroys Pompton Lakes house
POMPTON LAKES - A house exploded in an evacuated neighborhood along a Hurricane Irene flooded river in Passaic County early today, sending a cloud of smoke over the area as firefighters sought to contain the flames from a boat.

I grew up along Lincoln Ave. Does anyone know the address ( house number )?

The house that exploded was on the lower end of Lincoln Ave off of Dawes Highway. Back in 1994 another house exploded one street over - Central Ave. Thank God no one was there!
