2013 Plymouth Ice Festival Begins Today
At 31 years old, a bigger and better Plymouth Ice Festival is set to kick off at 3 p.m. today in downtown Plymouth.

we went to the plymouth ice festival was very unhappy they were not many ice thing out for people to see they had trap on them tell 5pm on friday it was a good time to see. last year was better.

Well, it did not open until 5PM. They announced that starting time on all the media. If you go early, all you see is the preparation work. And the weather was 47 degrees so they could not carve too much ahead of time for you to see. Saturday was much better, still without the expanse and detail of earlier years because of cost and weather. But the promoters hedged the weather bet to provide extras for the kids. They had a XC ski course for kids and an artificial skating rink made of plastic with rental skates for adults and kids. Various booths for food were available. There was something for everyone including pick pockets I suppose.
