Desertification will just add to this as the land 'adapts' to drier and hotter continental interiors, meanwhile coastal cities will get hit by record flooding as well as sea level rise, increased heat waves and reduced food supply from both oceans and the 'bread basket' farm regions.
The ONLY real question is how many people the reduced country will support...
